A Fourth Recall Arrives for Lamborghini’s New Flagship
The Lamborghini Revuelto hasn’t been on the road long, but it’s already racked up a handful of recalls. This is the car that replaced the Aventador, introducing a V12 with electric motors and marking a significant shift for the brand.
By mid-2025, the Revuelto had already seen three recalls – one even involved those iconic scissor doors. Now there’s a fourth, this time focused on the rear backup camera.
None of these recalls has resulted in injuries or crashes, but the number is unusual for a car this rare and expensive. When you’re spending over half a million dollars, even small problems get noticed.
What Triggered the Latest Recall
According to a document from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the latest recall affects only seven Revueltos in the US. Five are 2025 models built in late September 2025, and two are 2024 models from April 3, 2024. Lamborghini says every one of these cars has the issue.
The issue is a software glitch with a highly specific pretext before happening. If you turn the car off and back on, then shift into Reverse almost immediately - before the system fully resets – the rearview camera display might not show up. Needless to say, reduced rear visibility in a low-slung car with small windows is a safety issue and puts the car out of compliance with federal rules.
Lamborghini found the bug during its own testing in May 2025 and spent months tracking it down before confirming the cause in January 2026. No owners have reported problems, and there haven’t been any crashes or injuries.

Quite an Easy Fix
As with most software glitches, the fix is quite simple – an update for the driver-assistance system. Dealers will handle it for free, of course, and Lamborghini will contact affected owners directly, both by mail and through the customer app.
With so few cars involved, Lamborghini should be able to identify and reach owners quickly. It's not a dire issue, though, plus newer cars already have the updated software, so the problem is contained.
